Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose how often I use the service? Do you offer one off cleans?
You are in complete control of how frequently you book appointments with Elite Housekeeping. Options include; weekly, fortnightly and monthly. We are also able to offer one off deep cleans.
Do you have a DBS?
All of our housekeepers have an in-date enhanced DBS check.
What are your qualifications for personal care?
Sara McLellan is a qualified adult nurse and midwife who can ensure that any care required is within the designated housekeeper’s capabilities and experience. Sara can ensure full training is provided for the housekeeper if deemed necessary and appropriate.
Do you have public liability insurance?
All of our housekeepers are insured under our public liability insurance.
Do you provide the cleaning supplies and equipment?
We provide all cleaning supplies unless the client has a specific brand preference. We do not use our own vacuums or mops, we use client vacuums and mops to avoid cross contamination between houses.
How much cancellation notice do I need to give?
A minimum of one months cancellation notice is required for all services but please do provide as much notice as you can.
Do I still pay for my regular clean if I am on holiday?
No payment is due as long as you provide a minimum of two weeks notice is provided.
What payment methods do you accept?
All payments must be paid directly to Elite Housekeeping and not the individual housekeeper, therefore bank transfer is preferable, cash is not accepted.
